Open the Channels Menu
- 1Click Channels in the left sidebar
- 2Click Add Channel
- 3Select WhatsApp

Scan the QR Code
- 1Open WhatsApp on your phone
- 2Tap the three dots (Android) or Settings (iPhone)
- 3Tap Linked Devices → Link a Device
- 4Point your camera at the QR code on your OpenClaw screen
- 5Wait for the green checkmark — about 5 seconds

Send a Test Message
- 1In OpenClaw go to Channels → WhatsApp → Test
- 2Enter a phone number with country code (e.g. +15551234567)
- 3Click Send Test Message
Message received? You're live on WhatsApp. Your OpenClaw will now respond to any message you send it on that number.
// If it's not working
QR code expired? They expire after 60 seconds — hit Refresh and scan again.
Scan works but no message arrives? Use a phone number that has been active on WhatsApp for at least 30 days.
